An entertaining outdoor living space

Villa Landscapes transformed this lake home backyard into a beautiful outdoor living retreat with many features. The homeowner did not want one continuous patio, but wanted several spots for entertaining. The backyard was too shady to grow grass, and had a slight pitch. Villa designer Lonny Sekeres solved these challenges as well as the need to tie new paver surfaces into an existing walkway He.created defined areas for dining, lounging and evening gatherings around the fire pit.

This outdoor space design has it all -- seating, fire feature, relaxing, walkways, patios and more.

Lakeshore Blend seat wall and paving stone colors were selected to complement the home's siding and exterior deck. Willow Creek Paving Stones Cobblestone and Circlestone were used for the patios and walkways, with a Willow Creek Ledgestone Fire Pit Kit in the center of one patio.

To create stunning yet functional seat walls, the designer selected VERSA-LOK retaining wall units. Perimeter plantings of native grass, perennials and shrubs complement the wooded shoreline.

The view from the deck never looked better. The paver patios below and retaining walls create a stunning outdoor living space on a Minnesota lake.

Chilton stepping stones were chosen for their natural aesthetic as well. The homeowner will now have years of enjoyment in this beautiful, durable and low -maintenance outdoor space.
