Dedicated dining space brightens up back yard

Deteriorating wooden steps and the lack of a dedicated outdoor dining area prompted homeowners in Richfield to update their home's back entrance with a simple but beautiful solution using pavers and retaining wall units.

Villa Landscapes used durable VERSA-LOK® pedestal stack steps, capped with Willow Creek Slatestone pavers for the landing, and added contrasting treads and borders. The steps flow easily to both the new patio and the existing sidewalk, while the elevated patio defines a space for small gatherings.

The homeowner plans a second project that will include a Willow Creek Ledgestone grill island kit between the Slatestone patio and the home's wing wall.
