This backyard landscape -- made even more beautiful by hardscapes -- is now ready for a pool party! Villa Landscapes helped create a landscape design that complements the in-ground pool.

This back yard was transformed with a hardscaped paver patio around the in-ground swimming pool. The combination of Willow Creek Paving Stones’ Slatestone and Slatestone Grande pavers in Mocha makes a phenomenal pool deck! The large size of Slatestone Grande gives the patio around the pool a contemporary feel, and the texture of the concrete pavers helps to prevent slipping when wet.

To create a visual border around the pool, Villa designer Andy Lofbloom selected a border course of Willow Creek Dekrastone in contrasting Crème. The design, installation and choice of color creates a striking border between the patio and pool, adding good looks and a measure of safety.

The retaining wall area helps to transition the slope and provides a cozy corner. To address the slope alongside the home while providing a cozy corner to relax and enjoy the pool, VERSA-LOK Standard Retaining Wall units in Chestnut Blend color was used to transition the slope. It would be easy to install some privacy screens under the deck and between the posts for a pool cabana!
