What Our Customers Say
Andy Lofboom
Landscape Designer
Born in a family of landscapers, Andy started landscaping at age 15. He went on to get a degree in environmental design from the University of Minnesota. With more than a decade of hands-on experience, he brings an impressive array of design/installation talents to the Villa Landscapes. Andy’s portfolio includes stunning hardscape designs, outdoor kitchens, spas and other outdoor living areas. He has an eye for integrating elements—paver patios, retaining walls, freestanding columns, stairs, walkways, gardens, pergolas and water features—into a cohesive landscape design. Andy has won landscape awards from the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute and the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association and is certified by ICPI and the National Concrete Masonry Association.
Anne Fleischhacker
Landscape Designer
Anne joins Villa Landscapes with work experiences that range from owning a landscape design-installation firm to serving as the lead horticulturalist for a large Minneapolis/St. Paul suburban city parks division. After earning a Bachelor of Science in horticulture from the University of Wisconsin – River Falls, Anne started her own landscaping firm. She was also an independent sales representative for large nursery in Wisconsin. When working for the suburban city, she became a certified tree inspector, which has served her well in helping clients choose and care for trees in their landscapes. As a horticulturalist, she also has a broad knowledge of ornamental plants. Anne has experience working with a range of clients, including homeowners, businesses and the public as well as managing installation crews and maintenance employees. As a small business owner, she gained valuable experiences in estimating projects and communicating with clients and crews as well as small business sales and marketing.
Lonny Sekeres
Director of Landscape Design/Designer
Lonny has a wide range of landscape design skills as a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Environmental Design and minor in horticultural design. Lonny formerly managed the residential landscape division of a landscape and garden center, where he honed his skills and developed a passion for working with homeowners. He knows the landscaping process from conception to design and through installation and completion, and he treats each project as if it were his own. He specializes in low-maintenance landscaping and particularly enjoys adding curb appeal to homes through front-entry makeovers. Lonny uses a variety of design software to turn his clients’ dreams into reality and offer them options in hardscapes and plantings.
Nick Pritchard
Landscape Designer
Nick has worked almost every position in the landscaping field, and that perspective, he says, gives him an advantage when creating living spaces and solving landscaping problems for clients. “I love solving problems by creating useful space. When you solve a problem creatively, it can make a dramatic difference in how the space functions or looks and how it feels,” Nick says. The Rosemount (MN) High School graduate worked in grounds crew maintenance and sales and as a landscape crew foreman, nature center intern and landscape designer while earning his Bachelor of Environmental Design degree at the University of Minnesota. One of his first jobs involved interior designers, architects and landscape designers, who worked in concert on lake properties. “In addition to being exposed to lake life and style, the experience gave me a holistic approach to design,” Nick says. Nick and his girlfriend are renovating a condo in Apple Valley. “Lots of people just want to solve a landscaping problem, and the other half want to create a useful space,” Nick said. “At Villa, we do both.”
Lisa Jorgenson
Office Manager
Lisa is the office manager for Villa Landscapes. She has an excellent track record in all facets of administration, with experience in various industries throughout her career. Lisa’s most recent position was as an office coordinator with responsibilities in accounting and finance. “I am excited to work with customers in creating outdoor living spaces,” she said. “Villa’s commitment to customer satisfaction sets them apart, and I am proud to be a part of the team.” Lisa’s hobbies include snowmobiling, hunting, boating and other outdoor activities. She and her husband, Wade, live in western Wisconsin and have two adult sons, William and Jacob, and a grandson, Hunter. Lisa and Wade enjoy good BBQ, concerts and boating on the St. Croix River.
Scott Arnold
Production Manager
Scott joined Patio Town in 2001, while earning a Landscape Design and Construction degree at Hennepin Technical College. As his responsibilities grew, he earned a promotion to store manager and then to his current role as operations manager at Villa Landscapes. Scott draws on his experience working with both retail customers and landscape contractors. “I really enjoyed working with homeowners and helping them from start to finish,” said Scott. “As operations manager, I work more behind the scenes with our designers and contractors to make sure that the customer has the best possible experience working with us.” Scott lives with his wife, Megan, and three sons in Brooklyn Park, Minn., and they enjoy fishing, canoeing and spending time outdoors.
Jason Aluni
Landscape Superintendent
Jason Aluni has more than 20 years’ experience in both the landscaping and stone mason industries. Jason gained landscaping experience in western Wisconsin before heading to the Iron Range in Minnesota, where, after becoming a certified mason, he earned the nickname “Stone Mason Jason.” He returned to the Twin Cities area to work in landscaping and stone work in the west metro, completing many projects around Lake Minnetonka. With an eye for detail and a track record of excellence, Jason is excited to add his skills and knowledge in natural and cultured stonework as well as landscaping to Villa Landscape’s portfolio.
